MUMMA…a unique type of love.
A love that prioritised my needs as your first grand daughter. Including the best school dinners, ever – I blame you for making me a fatty!
A love so precious that you allowed me to live in your shadows and learn so much from you, even while we sat in Lilo’s suit shop for hours!
A love that protected me when all the kids were mean to me at school.
A love that taught me to be strong and independent as you held this home AND the Bhogal family together.
A love that was loud and scary, sometimes my heart ached and you never realised only YOU could fix it.
A love so powerful, I wouldn’t be half the woman I am today, without you.
A love so rare, I feel privileged that I got to call you Mumma for 35 years.
A love that will be forever unconditional.
Mumma, the family chain is officially broken, things won’t be the same without you. But I promise to ensure your legacy lives on, forever. And to take care of papaji, just like you did.
Love you always, your one & only, Pothi xxxx
